Since 1964, the WoGe Stolberg playground has been a central meeting place that promotes community and offers kids a safe place to play. But after decades of use, the ageing equipment had to be replaced. The playground was revitalised three years ago in collaboration with Wickey PRO. By installing the stable GIANT Residence climbing frame as well as a tumble bar and the colourful motorbike spring rocker, the playground offers modern, appealing play options that promote movement, which is so important for kids' development.
Given the limited budget, the value for money offered by Wickey PRO was the ideal choice for the renovation.
Today, the playground is a public meeting place that is maintained by a dedicated 78-year-old resident. The new equipment was selected to match the freshly painted playground, creating a uniform appearance. The residents are very satisfied with Wickey's service, especially with the fast support.
